What is the shelf life of HY982?
The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored unopened under recommended conditions.
Is a primer required before application?
In most cases, no primer is required. HY982 bonds strongly to clean and sound substrates. For highly absorbent or unusual materials, a small adhesion test is recommended prior to full application.
What materials can HY982 bond?
HY982 provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including wood, stainless steel, aluminum, stone, sintered slab, glass, ceramics, PVC, and most common building panels.
What are the application temperature requirements?
The recommended application temperature range is +5°C to +35°C. Application should be avoided when substrate temperatures are below 4°C or above 40°C.
