Can it be used for both indoor and outdoor applications?
Yes. It provides good weather resistance and is suitable for general interior sealing and window/door frame installations. For heavy exterior structural glazing, please confirm material compatibility or consult technical support.
What is the recommended working temperature?
Application can be done within 4℃ to 40℃. After curing, the sealant performs well from -50℃ to 100℃.
What is the shelf life?
Cartridge: 9–12 months depending on storage conditions
Aluminum foil sausage: 12 months
How long does it take to fully cure?
Initial surface curing typically occurs within a few hours, depending on temperature and humidity. Full cure generally takes 24–48 hours, with thicker joints requiring longer.
What materials does HY-2100 adhere to?
HY-2100 bonds well to most common building substrates including glass, aluminum, stainless steel, tile, marble, cement, plastic, and non-oily wood.
